We have a couple of very important occasions coming up in California that we seriously cannot miss: Zach's sister's wedding and my Grandpa's 80th birthday that my entire family from all over the country will be at. Problem = we're not made of cash and airplane tickets aren't cheap! And, we have a lot of other things to be saving for/paying off.
As we thought and talked and prayed a lot about going/not going, one of us going/one of us not going, God spoke a word to Zach that pretty much settled the matter for us.
Family over Finances.
Basically we felt like God said stop worrying about spending the money and go. I'm taking care of the finance part.
So, instead of stressing and worrying about how we'd make it happen for both of us to go as well as keep saving and paying off debt, we started to believe and pray that God would provide a way.
And guess what, he did just that!
Shortly after God spoke that word to Zach our land lords approached us about taking care of the pool in our condo complex for the summer....for the amount of money we will need to go to the wedding and birthday party!
HOORAY!
Cleaning a pool and balancing it's chemicals every day for 3 months is not something I ever saw myself doing, but hey, God provides through some interesting ways sometimes!
Sometimes a check will show up in your mail box when you ask God to provide financially, but more often than not for us, the answer is some kind of weird work, like cleaning a pool.
So the pool we will clean. While thanking God for his provision.
This is how Copelynn tags along
