13 Months: Fearless

At 13 months (13 months today actually) we officially have a CLIMBER! Anything she can get her knee up on, she is climbing it.  Just letting her go play in the backyard while I'm inside is dangerous now.  I looked over this morning while she was playing and one minute she was on our 1.5 foot tall flower bed and the next minute she was standing on our patio furniture chair....with concrete below just asking for some blood.  Heart attack city!

We also went to the park this afternoon between naps and lunch.  She LOVES the park!

What you don't see in this photo is that I was running to grab her little arm as she almost fell down the huge slide all by herself....while yelling her name as the other parents starred. ha!

Fearlessly walked off this ledge about 10 different times...

The older she gets the more I start to see little traits of her personality come out and I do admire that she is fearless right now!  As tedious as it is to have to follow her around everywhere she goes right now to make sure she doesn't fall off stuff and crack her head open, I want to always try and help nurture those great traits as they blossom out.  May you always be as fearless in life as you are right now my little 13 month old.
