Our baby girl is one month old! Becoming parents has been lots of things for us: joyful, amazing, so fun, so rewarding, the best...but also challenging, hard. sleep-deprived zombies for a little while, and a huge adjustment.
You never realize how selfish you are until you have a baby. The whole world and everyday revolves around them instead of you and thats a shocker at times! But as different as life might be now, there is nothing sweeter than looking at this baby girl and knowing she's all ours :) She's such a blessing.
As of one month Copelynn:
-Eats like a little piglet. Literally every hour or so during the day.
-Sleeps SO well for us at night. Longest stretch as of yesterday = 6.5 hours. Thank you baby :)
-Likes to face outwards now instead of facing you when holding her.
-Will follow mommy n daddy with her eyes when she sees us/hears us in the room
-Will stretch her legs and stand on you for a little bit
-Is over 10 and 1/2 pounds!
-Still has little eye boogies all the time in her right eye (clogged tear duct, yuck)
-Never takes a pacifier--only likes mommy and fingers
-Still isn't sure about her carseat, sometimes shes not happy about being in there, others she does fine
-Hasn't like being swaddled since day one. Likes to be free
-Started sitting her bouncer contently at about 3ish weeks old
