Quick Visit to Sacramento

Copelynn and I made a quick trip to visit family in Sacramento last weekend, thanks to the airline miles we'd been saving for who knows how long.  My brother, sister in law and niece & nephew were visiting from Georgia and there was no way I could pass up the rare chance to hang out with them.

We has SUCH a good time! My niece and Copelynn are only 7 weeks apart so watching them meet and play and have troubles sharing was soooo fun. Not to mention we played outside everyday in the amazing 70+ degree sunny sunny weather.  Ah, it was so refreshing! 

We watched the girls crawl all over the yard in the sun and played frisbee and baseball with my nephew, visited with aunts and uncles and cousins and friends, laughed with my mama on the couch after we put the babies to sleep. It was a good, good visit. 

It's always so hard to leave, but my heart is a bit more at ease this time because we will be back down there to celebrate Copelynn's 1st birthday in early May. Woohoo!
