Happy Easter Everyone!

I'm not much of a weekend blogger these days so Happy late Easter actually! I occassionally sit down to write or blog on the weekends, but it usually ends up half done or barley started because I find something more "productive" to do around the house. Or Zach distracts me because he is so good looking :)

We had a great Easter this year! Our friends Emily and Tyler, who are also family-less in Olympia, came over for our 2nd Annual Easter together. Our friends Elise and Dan joined this time too! About a million times that weekend I thought to myself "I'm so grateful that I have good friends that help me not dread the holidays away from my actually family."

Church was AWESOME, of course. I failed to get pictures of our delicious feast of ham and all the other fixins, but it was divine. Cheers to ham sandwiches for the rest of the week! (I actually found a really good recipe for them here)

AND IT WAS 65* ON EASTER IN OLYMPIA!?!? Cherry on top for sure.

Cutest nephew in the WORLD segmant:

Oh, and I got a little crafty this Easter! Yes, look at that tree!

I always thought there was one way and one way only to color eggs. Nope, wrongo! No more hard boiled eggs. If you want to eat them after you color, this won't be good for you.

1. Tap a hole on each end of the egg with a screw or nail.
2. Proceed to BLOW the contents of the egg OUT into the the sink. SICK i know!
3. String ribbon through each eggand tie a knot at the bottom.

Tada, you have a nifty Easter egg tree!
