Bible Across American Adventure with Miss Ciara
so this bus is traveling across the US to 90 different cities to have people write one verse of the bible on pages and ultimately the whole bible with all these different handwritings will end up on display in the Smithsonian in Washington DC...so the bus is at Living Water for today and Ciara and i went to do our thang and write our verse...we're talking to Daniel (the youth pastor) on the curb, and were like "okay were gunna go on the bus and write our verse" and he weirdly said "hmmmm okay have fun on the bus!" and were like hm thats odd, "okay we will." So we walk to the bus..and its like an RV decked out painted and stuff and we open the door, theres no steps though so its like a three foot first step as i think "this is really hard to get into, why would it be this difficult?" i step in and then Ciara does and right away im like "crap this can't be right." picture someones bed room with a steering wheel and that is what we walked into with a man sitting on the couch and we awkwardly ask "can we write our verse in the bible" and he awkwardly looks as these two weird girls walking into his domain and says "uhhh thats not in here its actually uhh in the church" as he points do the building. ahhahahh so we leave and we're like "Daniel how could you let us go in there!" "ahhah what in the world, we walked in the bus!!"
maybe one of this you had to be there moments, but it was hilarious....
