Full Circle

These two have come so far! WE (the three of us) have come so far in our 5 days together during the week while daddy is at work.  I remember the brand new craziness of two kids way too well. That first year of Easton's life with a newborn and 2 year old was all the things....exhausting, amazing, tiring, fun, challenging, joyous, really hard, and probably 10 more tiring's in there. The first year in the switch to two kids mostly left me collapsing on the couch every single night totally beat. 

It all kind of came full circle to me when I snapped this picture of them while they played happily together all morning giving each other turns in the stroller and running around laughing. 

The day when they would actually play together and entertain each other seemed REALLY far away for a long time. But its like BAM here we are now. Yes they steal each others toys all that time, fight over the same stuff quite often, and bite/hit/push/hurt each other a lot, BUT the sweet moments where they engage with each other and laugh at one another and play together are some of the most sweet of my life. There's nothing like watching the kids you pour into everyday love on each other. It is more rewarding than I knew. And they're only 1.5 and 3.5...only the beginning being built in best friends.
