It is totally true that being a parent on Christmas is even more fun than being a kid on Christmas. It was so fun watching Copelynn's thrill and excitement this year! It was the first year she actually could open presents and "get it". This is also the first year since we've been married that we haven't been in Ohio or California visiting family for Christmas or had family visiting us....and it's kinda fun now with two kids creating new traditions in our home! And super fun to have two of Zach sister's living in Olympia to be with.
Christmas Eve we went to church....
As Zach dropped Copelynn off at her class he said "you look like and princess!" to which she replied "I feel like a princess!" Melt my heart..
Easton's pants got a little wet so he had to wear his PJ bottoms by the time we picked him up from the nursery. Still the cutest little man.
He was enthralled with the "snow" in the auditorium. I didn't get a picture of Copelynn, but she wasn't too sure about it.
Then we had the cousins and Zach's sisters and brother-in-law over for Pizza, gingerbread houses, presents, and Christmas VeggieTales.
The only picture I got of all of us....blurry, ha!
Aunt Livi's gone fishin' game was the favorite.
Christmas Morning actually happened at 8:30am instead of way earlier like we thought. One good thing about Copelynn staying up late on Christmas Eve is "sleeping in" this morning, score!
Cinnamon Rolls! She just ate the icing...
Merry Christmas!!
