Random things; funny. informational.random.
-I'm 23 weeks as of yesterday! Baby girl is now about a foot long and somewhere around 1 whole pound! The size of a grapefruit they say. I feel her dancin in there all the time, it is just so sweet. I love it.
-Cravings and sudden strong urges for certain foods are becoming more frequent...and strong! I was discussing with Zach this weekend (as he laid sick on the couch for 3 days) whether or not us pregnant women use pregnancy as an excuse to give into these cravings that even unpregnant people get for foods...or whether pregnant cravings are legit because they are like way stronger than the average bear's cravings. We landed the plane on the latter assumption. Good job, husband, you know the right things to say :)
On that note, I was craaavvvvving rice krispy treats yesterday. So badly that I drug my no- makeup, no-hair, sweat pants'd self to walmart (where I fit in haha!) and got the supplies. And I ate the whole entire pan. every.last.one. finger lickin' good. Now that is a strong urge people. I'd like to believe I wouldn't do that if I wasn't growing a baby....but who really knows.
-I introduced one of my best friends to DUCK DYNASTY on Saturday. OH it was so great. This is Zach and I's current favorite show. Absolutely hilarious.
-I ordered a prenatal workout DVD and can't wait to get it and try it out. The woman instructor is pregnant (appropriate, I know) and RIPPED. It was a little terrifying that her muscles are that big, but it made me think her workout must really work....good marketing.
-We left for California the day before Zach's birthday, so I bought his birthday card all nice and early and tucked it away in my nightstand so he wouldn't find it. Then I forgot it. So last night (2 weeks later) I saw it and laughed "Babe! Here's the card I forgot to give to you" and handed him the unsealed, unwritten in, unsigned bday card. He read it and laughed and shook his head "well, thanks babe. If this were the other way around, most women would deem this grounds for divorce. But you're such a guy and you do this kind of thing to me instead of visa versa; which is prbably a great thing."
Oh man.....Life's Good :)
