Water & Rocks

In Exodus 17:1-6 Jesus made water spring out of a rock.

Huh?

Yes, water from a rock.

How crazy would that be!?

Water doesn't usually or naturally come out of rocks, right? Right. This defies all our human laws of physics and whatever else the scientific people want to call it.

But that day in the desert, for his thirsty and in-need people, God provided water for them....from an impossible, unlikely, bizarre source.

Such an event inspires me and speaks to me. Or, more like the Living Word of God was speaking to me through the Holy Spirit and this story.

God knows our needs. He sees them before we even have them.  And I believe He'd like to provide for every single one of our needs just like he did for the Israelites running around all thirsty in the desert. I think he'd like to provide for us in humanly impossible ways. I think he'd like to provide for us supernaturally and miraculously.

He makes water come from rocks for his people to drink when they're thirsty
He makes jobs appear out of nowhere for his people that are unemployed and need work
He makes money come in from unexpected places for mamas who quit their full-time jobs to stay at home with their babies (applicable right about now)
He brings restoration to seemingly dead relationship
He brings engery and endurance to those who's flesh is weak
He brings strength to those who find none in themselves

So what is it you need today? Expect big things because he is an extravagantly big God who does the impossible for those who have faith and ask.
