The only glow I think I have is the grease on my face from all of the zits I have and maybe the left over residue from puking. Gross, sorry. BUT, I'm rollin with all of the crazy quirks and reminding myself to be thankful for the morning sickness and symptoms because those things mean that this little baby is alive and well!
Nausea? Yes, but only 1 puking incident so far. I had a smoothie for breakfast with lots of greek yogurt, trying to get more protein like the midwife said, but the smoothie ended up all over my work's bushes, whoops.
Fatigue? Yes. Still take naps when I can and would LOVE to get 12 hours of sleep a night . That only happens on the weekends.
Showing? Nope
Maternity Clothes? Nope
Weird dreams? YES. SUCH weird dreams....about fast food joints, bikes, the kardashians and other things I don't remember. And the newest trend = night sweats. I will wake up 2-3 times a night in a full body sweat.
I'm a busy body and struggle to not do too much, not over committ myself, and struggle to rest. So, being tired all.the.time is a HUGE adjustment! I read something in a book, though, that totally changed my perspective in this area. It said something like resting takes as much self discipline as working out out does, or being productive does. It's just a different kind of activity. Instead of viewing resting as being lazy, I realized that resting right now is VERY productive and it is excercising my self discipline muscle. So, I'm embracing the 1st trimester demands and napping, going to bed at 7pm, etc. woohoo!
