a look through the peep hole into our lives

so its been an exciting past couple weeks! What did it encompass....let see...1.thanksgiving at the stuarts, black friday shopping, lots of homework, getting excited about come home for christmas (December 22 @ 9:41pm, everyone reading this i expect to see you there) . So Mary and i went to Bellevue last sunday to go to the huge mall there and it was HUGE let me tell you. every where we turned was a new corner of stores that we hadnt seen yet. over and over again. haha. we had an awesome time together. After shopping we went to the cheesecake factory and chatted it up about life, she's an amazing woman of god and her family and her marriage..oh man. its like reading a book about advise, but i have the live version. haha. then on "snowflake" lane right ourside the mall there was a holiday parade. It was so funny. there was a huge drumline that went through the mall and came out into the lane with guys on 9 foot tall stilts dressed in drummer boy outfits. i enjoyed them the most because they gave us tootside peppermint pops. =)

Thursday is our host home christmas party where all the host families and anthem students get together in the name of jesus' birthday. the students were in charge of entertainment. SO this week we have been preparing for this. hopefully nobody reads this that shouldnt, ill just take the risk anyway cause im feelin a little adventurous today...we are siging 12 days of christmas Anthem style...it includes hilarious things such has: on the first day of anthem what was in store fo me: 2 cents an hour, 3 hours of chores, 4 nagging interns. 5 flippin dings, 6 talks with lisa, 7 trips to starbucks, 8 first year girls, 9 awkward man hugs, 10 week scripture tests, 11 friends worth keeping, 12 MONTHS of rain. and that last one is literal. haha. get this: we are also doing a stomp type thing. like the blue man group, banging on trash cans and pans and such in an orderly manner to sound and look cool. i bang a copper pole on a pipe. its fun.

as for tonight: the youth crew, leli zach and i, are going to the YC downtown where we hang with kids downtown. then we have DTS (doing the stuff jesus did) and i get to role play tonight. phew.
