Verse 4: He hears me, he delivers me
Verse 5: There is no shame for those in the lord
Verse 6: He hears me, He saves me from my troubles
Verse 7: Angels are with those who fear God
Verse 8: Whoever trusts in God will be blessed.
Verse 9: There is no want for those who fear him
Verse 10: Those who seek the Lord will lack no good thing
Verse 15: God’s eyes and ears are open to the righteous’ cry
Verse 17: The Lord hears the cry of the righteous and
delivers them from their troubles
Verse 18: God is near those with a broken heart and
repentant spirit.
Verse 19: The Lord delivers the righteous out of their
afflictions
Verse 20: The Lord redeems his servant’s souls. There is no
condemnation for those who trust Him.
Now that is a lot of promises! The two I
need to hear and remember the most today are Verses 9 and 10.
Verse 9: There is no want for those who fear him
Verse 10: Those who seek the Lord will lack no good
thing.
We all have needs. Physical, emotional, spiritual,
relational…..on and on. I am beyond blessed. To most of the world I am filthy
rich. I do not recall ever lacking food to eat, clean water to drink, shelter,
a shower, clothes to wear. For this I am way grateful! Today I am thinking of
things that I lack emotionally and spiritually.
In the Lord I lack no good thing.
To me, this means:
-In the Lord I do not lack self confidence
-In the Lord I do not lack the wisdom to make hard decisions
-In the Lord I do not lack joy
-In the Lord I do not lack love
-In the Lord I do not lack contentment
-In the Lord I do not lack intelligence
-In the Lord I do not lack boldness
-In the Lord I do not lack peace for situations where there
is none
-In the Lord I do not lack strength to carry out duties
where I work
-In the Lord I do not lack discipline to read my bible, work
out more, eat healthier, not judge others, not gossip, not speak negatively.
-In the Lord I do not lack power to operate in the
supernatural
-In the Lord I do not lack truth to overcome fears
-In the Lord I do not lack VICTORY in old habits
